Indian Entrepreneur Pledges $100k in support of Digital Activities against ISIS at G20
The G20 Summit was recently concluded in Antalya, Turkey. Amidst the Paris terrorist attacks, the main agenda of all the nation leaders was how to come together to fight terrorism. But the sight of a 20 year old entrepreneur from India got our eyes popping out.
Evan Luthra, a serial entrepreneur and the CEO of EL Group International, an award winning design and tech firm, took the stage in Turkey and amazed us by his vision of the digital India. EL Group was a proud partner of the G20 summit and Evan shared what his firm is doing and how he is working on our PM’s vision of a digital India. He also condemned the recent Paris attacks and pledged 100 thousand dollars to support the digital campaigns against the ISIS. He also laid emphasis on entrepreneurship and how it can help in achieving the goals of sustainable development. Surprisingly Evan is just 20 and has already built and sold successful businesses around the world. He’s a tech freak and started building apps from the age of 13. Later on he moved on to the path of entrepreneurship and has also invested in start-ups from multiple domains. This is not the first instance of him speaking at an international stage. He’s an avid speaker and has spoken for TED, Google, Blackberry, World Economic Forum and numerous colleges around the country.
It was indeed a proud moment for our country and it is the proof of the fact that India is witnessing a start-up revolution and producing amazing leaders who’ll drive the future growth of the nation. Indeed there’s a lot more to come as it just the start of innings for India. Hope we’ll produce some amazing talent in the field of entrepreneurship in future.
